Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. In Canada, it's a national sport. It began as a First Nations/Native American sport that was played as early as the 12th century.

Lacrosse is a contact team sport played between two teams using a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick called a crosse or lacrosse stick. It is often considered a rough sport, although injuries are less frequent than in American football and other contact sports.

The sport has four major types: men's field lacrossewomen's lacrossebox lacrosse and intercrosse. The sport consists of four positions: midfield, attack, defense, and goalie. Generally, there are ten players on a team during a game.

All Players must be US Lacrosse Member.

Southern NV Lacrosse Association adheres to the rules and regulations set forth by US Lacrosse. To become a US Lacrosse Member, the cost is $25-50 depending on age. During season registration you are automatically directed to the US Lacrosse site for Membership but if you'd like to get a membership beforehand, Sign up here.
